&lt;h3&gt;The Role&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A Senior Technical Writer role at Amperity is a broad role that works across the product and across audiences.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You&#39;ll have the opportunity to work closely with all of our internal teams (engineering, product, and customer-facing roles) to identify and create engaging content for our customers. We&#39;re looking for someone who wants to be a writer on a small team and who enjoys the opportunity to wear more than one hat while working in the technical content space.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The documentation team is small and agile and uses an iterative approach enabled by a CI/CD workflow. All documentation is public-facing and lives at &lt;a href=&quot;https://docs.amperity.com&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;https://docs.amperity.com&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Interesting Problems&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work closely with all of our our teams (engineering, product, and customer-facing roles) to identify and create engaging content for our customers.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Write documentation that supports a variety of customer use cases, including self-service management of Amperity, sandboxes, APIs, databases, building SQL queries and audience segments, pulling data to and sending data from Amperity.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collaborate with engineers and product managers to develop effective, customer-focused documentation.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collaborate with customer-facing technical staff to capture best practices and other scenario-based guidance.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Help extend a reference-driven information architecture to support a wider variety of use cases.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Independently own topics from the original idea through review and to publication.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;h3&gt;About You&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;7+ years of proven experience in technical writing.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A strong technical background that gives you the ability to work broadly across the product, but also the ability to dive deeply into the technical details when it’s required.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A desire to translate complex ideas into content that is simple to understand and follow.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Professional fluency in English; strong verbal and written communication.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Self-motivated and takes initiative to learn new technologies, interview subject matter experts, develop new content, and manage projects from start to finish.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to handle multiple tasks with an eye for prioritization and detail.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to interact directly with customers (internal and external) to understand pain points and develop content.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, swiftly-changing startup environment.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Familiarity with Git-based / continuous documentation workflows, GitHub, text editors, and static HTML sites.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Experience writing about SQL and related database technologies.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Knowledge of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, Google), Databricks, Snowflake, data warehouse concepts, and large data sets.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Familiarity with common tools like Slack, Zoom, markup languages, Confluence, G-suite, SSO, and are comfortable working with a mix of people spread across two primary locations (Seattle and New York City) along with other remote locations.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;h3&gt;Compensation&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Base Salary:&amp;nbsp; $85,000 - $117,000. &lt;/strong&gt;Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training. For qualified new hires, we generally target the middle of this range.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Cash Incentives: &lt;/strong&gt;Cash incentives are also available.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Stock Options:&amp;nbsp; &lt;/strong&gt;The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.&lt;/p&gt;
