This year’s Databricks Data + AI Summit (DAIS) was more than just a gathering of the world’s leading data practitioners - it was a window into the future of enterprise AI, cloud data architecture, and customer intelligence. And at the heart of it all, Amperity’s booth and event space served as destinations for brands seeking clarity in the chaos of customer data.
Over the course of three days, Amperity participated in meetings, live demos, and strategy sessions with some of the most forward-thinking teams in data and marketing. From Databricks architects to marketing analysts eager to unlock first-party data, one thing was clear: identity resolution is no longer a side project - it’s a foundational layer of modern AI workflows.
Why we showed up: a mission rooted in identity
Amperity came to DAIS 2025 with a clear message: your customer data is only as powerful as your ability to know who your customers are. Our identity-first tooling uses explainable AI and patented machine learning to resolve fragmented data into unified customer profiles - fueling better decisions, better models, and better experiences.
While our longstanding partnership with Databricks continues to thrive, we made it clear at DAIS: Amperity integrates seamlessly with Databricks and other custom environments. Identity intelligence belongs in your cloud of choice, not in a walled garden.
The booth & Minna Gallery event space
Located near the swag pop-up and puppy park, the Amperity booth was designed for deep conversations and real-world demos. The space featured interactive stations where attendees could see how raw, messy data was ingested into Amperity’s platform to resolve billions of records into clean, accurate, privacy-safe customer profiles. We also debuted Chuck Data, our latest AI agent, which embeds Amperity’s customer data expertise into command-line AI, allowing you to build an identity graph using natural language prompts - all natively in Databricks.
Throughout the week, technical teams dropped by for on-the-spot walkthroughs of how Amperity enriches customer data profiles with Identity Resolution tools, Databricks notebooks, and downstream marketing tools via Reverse ETL.
Just a few blocks from the Moscone Center, Amperity took over the Minna Gallery as an offsite hub for focused, industry-specific conversations. Throughout the week, we hosted several signature events, including a Retail & Travel Executive Reception, a Customer Data Strategy Luncheon, and a series of Daily Industry Breakfasts. Each gathering offered something unique, but a shared urgency tied them together: teams across industries are rethinking how to use identity as a lever for growth, measurement, and AI readiness. The space fostered real dialogue - less pitch, more partnership - and gave us a front-row seat to how customer data strategy is evolving in real time.
What we talked about: topics & trends
The most common theme in our booth: "We’ve got the data, but we don’t know who our customers actually are."
Here’s what attendees were asking—and how Amperity helped answer:
How do I unify customer data in Databricks? Amperity resolves identity and enriches records before activation - sitting between your raw data and your models.
We’re losing fidelity in our paid media targeting. Can you help? Yes. First-party identity fuels smarter lookalike models and more precise targeting as cookies disappear.
Do I have to move all my data into Amperity? No. Amperity sends resolved profiles back to your cloud so you can activate data where it already lives.
As AI takes center stage across the modern data stack, we saw a hunger for clean, governed customer data pipelines—something Amperity is uniquely built to provide, just as our own Derek Slager discussed with GoTo Foods executives Manuel Valdes and Brett Newcome.
Why it mattered: what we took away
DAIS 2025 reinforced what we already believed: data strategy is now customer strategy.
Identity resolution is no longer optional - it’s the backbone of personalized marketing, accurate measurement, and responsible AI.
Enterprises are demanding interoperability not just with Databricks but any cloud environment.
Teams want tools that do, not just dashboards that display. Amperity’s agentic orchestration and event-driven architecture stood out in conversations with teams looking to automate insights and act faster.
Let’s keep the conversation going
If you missed us at DAIS 2025, there’s still time to see how Amperity can help unify your customer data, activate it across your cloud stack, and put identity at the core of your AI and analytics workflows.
