Creating an S3 Courier
About this course
In this lesson, Hannah demonstrates how to set up a S3 courier on the Sources page. This includes selecting the Amazon S3 from the Most Common list on the Select integration window. She then goes over what to add on the Select credential window, including a courier name, a credential type, and a credential.
Then she walks through how to use the Courier Editor on the Sources page. This includes how to update the credential, test the connection, choose a sample file, enter a file pattern name, view the sample file information, select formatting, and switch to the legacy editor.
She then shows how to configure a feed in the Feed Section of the Courier Editor. She highlights the options available in the Feed Section, including how to create a new feed by selecting a source and entering a feed name, use an existing feed by selecting an existing feed from the dropdown menu, and selecting a load type. On the next page, she talks about how to configure a feed by selecting a primary key, selecting the last updated field, and ensuring field types, semantic tags, ensuring all the settings are configured correctly, and activating the courier.
Finally, she demonstrates how to create an associated domain table by running the courier in the Couriers section of the Sources page.
