About this course
Michael demonstrates the creation and management of automated Workflows that handle data processing. He begins with the courier group configuration, which is commonly used to initiate scheduled Workflows in Amperity. The courier group allows grouping couriers together and treating them as a set, retrieving data from multiple external systems defined in each of the individual couriers. The courier group provides a scheduling feature where a Cron expression specifies the time the process should run. Michael also covers alert configurations for the courier group, including success notifications and runtime threshold notifications. Different Workflow run types are explained, with the full Workflow run type being the most common choice. Michael demonstrates how to configure the courier group in the tenant, specifying the schedule, time zone, status, run type, and discussing the wait time option to allow for resiliency in case of file delays.
